SBB Cargo has a 70% share of the rail freight market in Switzerland. In France, it is around 9%. Company has 2,246 employees, transports 185,000 tonnes of cargo every day, which, according to its own calculations, saves 460,000 tonnes of CO2 every day compared to equivalent road transport.
